
It seems most of us are trying to gauge if AI will end up like social media and the Internet—lots of life-improving uses, lots of downsides we didn’t anticipate and how much to embrace it in our daily lives.
I suspect it will be a million times better and a million times worse than what we’ve experienced with precursor technologies.
We humans keep innovating, excited by opportunities, but historically we don’t seem to embed governance to keep ourselves in check.
